Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Excellent communication skills
- Assertive but pleasant, helpful personality
- Ability to work in team situations
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts if needed. Some holidays and weekends required
- Ability to give and receive clear direction and instructions
- Carpentry related projects involving (but not limited to) woodworking, drywall, spackling, painting (if needed), constructing, demolition, modifying, renovating, trim work, roofing, cleaning, etc.
- Must have tool proficiency
- Complete other projects / duties as assigned
Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree or 3-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One-year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, construction drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and regulations
Ability to prepare jobs in accordance with current building codes.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems, ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical form
Certificate, Licenses, Registrations
Valid P.A. Driver’s License
