The course also offers a driving range and teaching and practice facility. The semi-private course is open to members and guests of Woodloch, and limited outside tee-times are available.
The Clubhouse at Woodloch Springs is home to a pro shop, complete with a 9-18 hole course simulator and virtual driving range, as well as two upscale restaurants, The Grille Room and The Overlook, which feature sprawling views of the scenic course.

POSITION SUMMARY
This is a seasonal position under the direction of the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional and the Outside Service Manager. Starters will provide service to the members & guests in the area of starting times, tee time coordination, tournament operations, course rules and policies, pace of play, accurate daily play totals and any other duties needed by the Golf Professional Staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Operate the starter's booth in the highest professional manner.
Maintain an adequate supply of scorecards, pencils, tee
- Assure the orderly flow of play in accordance with the posted tee times. Rotate players as needed to ensure flow of play.
- Provide information on the course, what tee’s to play, and weather.
- Inform guests on GPS units on the golf cars.
- Keep a record of all rounds played, including cart usage and numbers.
- Post the condition of play for the day.
- Answer radio in a friendly manner and help members & guests with day of play or future tee times.
- Ability to utilize technology such as an iPad
- Maintain our dress code, & cooler policy.
- Maintain an adequate supply of scorecards, pencils, tees, ball markers, at the starter's booth.
REQUIRMENTS
- Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to clearly communicate member & guests needs to other team members.
- Minimum age 16
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 70lbs
- Ability to stand 6-8 Hours
- A positive attitude while on the job is also essential.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The ability to speak English is necessary to converse with our members and guests. Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
