What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pit Master position at Woodpile BBQ?
Local barbecue restaurant joint looking for someone passionate about barbecue and knows how to run a kitchen. Applicants should be able to
- Have some knowledge in trimming, seasoning and smoking meats, will train the right person
- Follow procedures for plating food and building sandwiches.
- Maintain a clean and functional work station - Work well with others in a fast paced kitchen.
- Have good knife skills; be able to slice ribs, brisket, sausage, other bbq meats.
- Accurately estimate cook pars daily
- Available weekends, nights and days.

Job Duties:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Hours per week:
- 45
Typical day: 6-4p or 11a-8p
