Part-time position (5.75) hrs. are available for the 2024-2025 school year.
The Instructional Assistant will assist the teacher and/or other professionals in the provision of special education and related services to pupils with disabilities. The Instructional Assistant may assist the teacher in the supervision of pupils and with instructional tasks, and other duties as assigtned. Must be able to lift at least 60 lbs.
Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Qualification required. Must pass the Para Prorfessional Examination. High School Diploma with postsecondary training/education in working with and educating individuals with disabilities preferred. Effective communication skills, which includes the ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationship with students with diverse backgrounds and needs individually or in group situation. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationship with students, with associates, school officials, and the public. Ability to efficiently operate standard office equipment, good health, high moral character, and a good attendance record, ability to lift at least 60 lbs., and willingness to attend any provided training designed to qualify a person to perform effectively their assigned duties.
Salary: Per Negotiated Agreement Starting hourly rate $20.62
