We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within a Primary Care Office. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and the ability to perform various clinical tasks efficiently. The Medical Assistant will support both internal medicine and Family Practice services, ensuring that patients receive the best possible experience during their visits. Must be able to be on time, dependable and be able to handle multiple patient testing
Responsibilities
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions
Perform patient testing
Maintain accurate patient records, including coding and documentation of medical history
Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and documenting symptoms
Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions and concerns promptly
Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care experience
Performs all other duties as trained and requested by provider and/or management.
Knowledge of medical terminology is essential
Experience in a Primary Care setting is preferred
Previous experience with Primary Care is highly desirable
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields is highly recommended.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
