Join Our Team as a Museum Interpreter!
Are you passionate about history and love engaging with people? Do you enjoy storytelling and
bringing the past to life? The WWPL museum is seeking enthusiastic Museum Interpreters to
lead guided tours of our historic building and provide visitors with an unforgettable experience!
About the Role:
While our museum is primarily self-guided, we offer guided tours of Wilson’s historic
birthplace. As a Museum Interpreter, you’ll share compelling stories, answer visitor questions,
and help guests connect with history in meaningful ways.
What You’ll Do:
�� Lead engaging and informative tours for visitors of all ages
�� Share fascinating historical insights and answer questions
�� Assist visitors in exploring our self-guided exhibits
�� Support special programs and events as needed
�� Help create a welcoming and memorable visitor experience
Who We’re Looking For:
✔ Passion for history, storytelling, and education
✔ Excellent public speaking and communication skills
✔ Friendly, engaging, and comfortable interacting with diverse audiences
✔ Previous experience in interpretation, education, or public engagement (a plus, but not
required!)
✔ Availability for part-time, flexible scheduling, including weekends
