What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Principal of Instruction position at Woodruff Middle School/Woodruff High School?
Spartanburg School District Four is currently taking applications for an Assistant Principal of Instruction to serve Woodruff Middle School (WMS) and Woodruff High School (WHS) for the 2025-2026 Academic Year. WMS serves approximately 700 students in grades 6-8, and WHS serves approximately 800 students in grades 9-12. Both schools have a strong focus on academic rigor and personal discipline in an environment that supports meaningful learning and relationships among students, faculty, and community members.
A valid South Carolina credential for assistant principal is preferred with a minimum of five (5) years successful classroom experience. Candidates should also have a strong understanding of standards implementation and effective instructional practices, along with a knowledge and understanding of high-quality instructional materials, data analysis, and South Carolina Teaching Standards 4.0 certification.
This is a 205-day position.
