Position Summary:
The Spray Technician supports the landscape maintenance team by applying fertilizers, herbicides, and other turf treatments to ensure healthy, vibrant outdoor spaces. This is an entry-level role—no applicator license is required, and all training will be provided to qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely apply fertilizers, weed control, and non-restricted chemical treatments to lawns, shrubs, and landscaped areas
Operate spray and spreader equipment in accordance with safety and usage guidelines
Assist with seasonal turf care programs, including pre- and post-emergent applications
Identify and report turf health issues such as pest infestations, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and report service or maintenance needs
Follow all company safety standards, procedures, and protocols
Accurately document all chemical applications and areas treated
Work collaboratively with crew leaders and fellow team members to complete daily tasks
Qualifications:
No applicator license required—training provided
Prior experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and reliability
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required
Willingness to learn, grow, and work as part of a team
