About the Role
As an Account Executive for Middle Markets Property & Casualty , you'll be responsible for actively retaining business and maintaining senior level relationships with clients, while keeping up to date on market changes and trends and providing expert technical knowledge related to coverage issues.
What You'll Do
- Manage an assigned complex book of business with appropriate revenue
- Coordinate all aspects of renewal process with client and Account Management team; anticipate client needs and risk profile and apply this knowledge to position client in the insurance market
- Build strong carrier relationships and leverage these as needed to assist team and insure the best client solutions
- Mentor team members on in-depth knowledge of procedures and sophisticated issues
- Advise Client Relationship Director of existing client relationship status and raise issues as needed / Advise Producers of ongoing client status
- Own presentations to clients during the renewal process
- Support Account Managers in developing specifications, securing underwriting information, analyzing existing coverages and making coverage comparisons
- Find opportunities to expand coverage for existing clients
- Maintain specific industry knowledge and technical expertise to serve as a proactive resource to clients and the account team
- Stay abreast of market changes, developing trends and maintain awareness of competition
- Participate in relative industry and trade associate meetings and events
- Networking with clients beyond day-to-day contacts; expand relationships to be able to influence executive leadership and decision makers within client organization
- Establish profitability metrics across book of business and navigate fee negotiations with clients

More About Us
Compensation : Anticipated salary between $126,644 – $$211,073. Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate.
This position is eligible to participate in an incentive program to earn additional compensation with a target equivalent to 12% of salary annually, based on individual and Company performance.
