Position Overview:
As a Sales Associate at Woods and Water Powersports, you will be the face of our dealership, assisting customers in finding the perfect powersports vehicle, accessories, or equipment for their needs. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and a passion for outdoor adventures. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable customer experience while meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Assist customers in identifying their needs and recommending suitable products, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, watercraft, and accessories.
Provide detailed information on product features, specifications, and benefits.
Conduct test drives and product demonstrations to highlight key features.
Sales Operations:
Build relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Present financing options and explain promotions or warranties to customers.
Negotiate pricing and complete sales contracts accurately and efficiently.
Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
Process payments and ensure proper documentation for each transaction.
Product Knowledge and Inventory Management:
Stay informed on the latest product offerings, features, and promotions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings.
Ensure proper stocking and presentation of vehicles and accessories on the showroom floor.
Assist with inventory checks and product display updates.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales, finance, and service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Assist in coordinating deliveries and pickups for sold units.
Participate in team meetings and share customer feedback to improve sales processes and strategies.
Administrative and General Duties:
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the showroom and sales floor.
Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person in a timely and professional manner.
Follow up with customers after purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Adhere to dealership policies and procedures.
