Brief description: As the Warehouse and Logistics Manager, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our 22 stores by ensuring they receive fresh coffee, milk, and baked goods daily. Our distribution team works behind the scenes, but the impact of their work is felt in every guest experience. We are looking for someone who approaches their work with the same care and attention to detail they would offer a customer. In this role, you’ll oversee a small team responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing products — ensuring every location has exactly what they need to serve our guests seamlessly. The ideal candidate takes full ownership of their role, leads their team with confidence, and follows through on tasks with efficiency. Strong leadership, quick problem-solving, and a sharp eye for detail are essential to keeping operations running smoothly.

Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and distribution, in line with Woods Coffee’s operational policies and vision.
- Manage stock levels, control inventory, and phase items in and out based on seasonality and demand.
- Ensure optimal use of warehouse space and maintain cleanliness, safety, and security standards.
- Coordinate with store locations regarding inventory needs, communicate shortages, and fulfill special requests to maintain smooth operations.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, suppliers, and transport companies as necessary.
- Manage inventory of dry goods, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Pack and prepare dry goods for delivery according to company standards.
- Conduct routine inventory checks.
Logistics and Distribution:
- Develop and maintain efficient and costeffective distribution routes, pre and postroute workflows, and monitor fleet conditions.
- Oversee fleet maintenance, delegate or perform routine cleaning of vehicles, and maintain incident reports.
- Coordinate and execute the nightly delivery of baked goods and dairy products to store locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule to maintain daily store operations.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and manage both warehouse and delivery team members, conducting regular performance reviews, setting goals, and providing feedback to encourage growth.
- Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times, with a minimum twoweek lead time.
- Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills, uphold company culture and maintain a professional, positive atmosphere.
- Lead by example to foster a collaborative, resilient, and proactive team environment.
Required Certifications:
- Drivers license.
- Forklift Certification (Certification can be provided on the job).
Required experience:
- Previous experience leading a team.
- Warehousing, Transportation, and Scheduling experience.
Required Skills:
- Google docs and sheets or Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Computer proficiency, comfortable with learning new software.
- Familiar with inventory management systems.
- Comfortable driving large box trucks, and other types of large vehicles.
Essential job functions:

Schedule: Must work a minimum one weekend shift every month. As a Manager you are encouraged to work through midday (7-3, 8-4 etc). Working during peak times is critical in running a successful Warehouse. Consider which days are busiest and work those. Working midday, as well as the occasional close and weekend shift, allows you the opportunity to see more people on your team throughout the day and stay closely connected to what is happening.
Compensation: $32 - 34 / hour based on experience.
