Woods Comfort Systems is currently hiring a Design Estimator to assist our Residential New Construction Comfort Consultants. This position is responsible for coordinating with their dedicated RNC Comfort Consultant and all other departments to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner. Placing equipment orders and being detail-oriented in completing material takeoffs, properly sizing duct runs, and being able to communicate with sub-contractors regarding job details.

Pay : $40k - $60k - Depending on Experience
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
Highly organized and detail-oriented individual
3 year or more experience in Residential HVAC
Proficient in completing Manual J, S & D's using Right Soft Universal
Able to create Energy Star & AEGB
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is a must
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Must have a valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Ability to work with little or no supervision
Able to work both independently and part of a team
Open and willingness to learn new tasks
Strong communicator and be able to communicate with both internal and external clients to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
Proficient in responding to builders' emails regarding a wide range of questions about equipment specifications or design questions regarding project
Ability of interpreting and reading architectural blueprints
Auto-CAD knowledge and experience would be a plus.
Ability to perform load calculations efficiently
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with both clients at any given time.
Possibility a need to work Overtime, from time to time
