JOB TITLE: PRODUCTION / OPERATIONS MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the day-to-day efficient operation of the company’s production and installation assets including scheduling, job tech, ordering, installation, building permits, job fulfillment, accounts receivable, service, warehousing, is also responsible for the proper staffing and direct hiring, training and supervision of all department employees and subcontractors.
REPORTS TO: Owners and General Manager
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Through knowledge of window and door installations and general construction practices.
3. Supervisory experience.
4. Mechanical aptitude.
5. Acceptable DMV record.
6. physical ability to daily lift and carry products weighing up to 100lbs, climb ladders, bend, stoop and walk on uneven surfaces.
7. Use electric and air driven tools.
8. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to use computers and appropriate company software program(s).
9. Physical ability to repetitively manipulate computer keyboard and 10 key
10. Ability to drive forklift.
11. Speak, write and communicate in English.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervise the scheduling of all work to achieve monthly production goals.
2. Supervise, train, and evaluate installation personnel to assure consistent quality workmanship and meeting company standards and monthly production goals.
3. Oversee all project managers and sub-contractors, door shop, paint shop, quality control inspection and all other production personnel to assure optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, time and all company policies and procedures are being implemented.
4. Supervise the review of all manufacturers’ acknowledgments for accuracy.
5. Spot check on jobs to assure company standards of installation and safety are being met.
6. Schedule and conduct regular meetings of installation personnel.
7. Assure that all department personnel are properly trained and prepared to deliver a Red Carpet Experience and Signature Service to all customers.
8. Stay up to date on all product changes and building code compliance and changes.
9. Assure the satisfactory completion of all jobs in a timely manner and collection of final payment.
10. Assist Human Resource Department with hiring and terminating production personnel.
11. Conduct semiannual installation performance reviews.
12. Oversee ordering of supplies and special materials as needed to assure adequate inventory
13. Manage and maintain weekly payroll.
14. Assure proper care of company vehicles, tools, equipment & facilities.
15. Be courteous, neat, clean and in proper uniform.
16. Always follow all company policies.
17. Attend company meetings and seminars as required.
18. Advise supervisor of anything that employee becomes aware of that could be important to improving the profitability, competitiveness or safety practices of the company.
19. Any other duties or responsibilities deemed necessary by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,568.00 per year
