Title : Peer Support Specialist
Salary : Starting at $20 / hour depending upon education, and experience.
Responsibilities :
- Peer Support Specialists will be expected to take the lead on engagement and may also conduct non-clinical assistance by providing support to consumers after the initial crisis has been resolved.
- Required to demonstrate competency in providing peer-to-peer support prior to rendering services independently.
Qualifications :
988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response Teams
The program operates throughout Burlington County and Mercer County providing mobile crisis outreach response services for adults through the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. This includes providing immediate and timely crisis intervention services, providing de-escalation and stabilization services in the community, and working to prevent hospitalization and law enforcement intervention when possible. Services are provided in via mobile outreach services throughout the region utilizing teams of two staff to provide both crisis assessment and support.
