Role Overview:
This Support Services Coordinator position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team at Legacy Treatment Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide non-clinical support and engagement to consumers post-crisis resolution, promoting sustained recovery and well-being.
- Demonstrate expertise in peer-to-peer support prior to rendering independent services.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Candidates should be trained in crisis intervention with a minimum of 2 years of continuous recovery from SMI or SUD diagnosis and possess at least 1 year of relevant field experience working with community individuals.
- Prioritize participation in DMHAS-approved de-escalation, mental health crisis, substance use crisis, and suicide training.
- Possess certification from a recognized credentialing entity, such as CRSP, CPRS, NCPRSS, or CWCLMA.
- Complete annual agency trainings and job-related courses as determined by the role.
- Travel using agency vehicles is required; a valid driver's license is essential.
About Our Mobile Crisis Outreach Program
The 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response Teams program operates across Burlington County and Mercer County, offering mobile crisis outreach response services for adults via the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
Services encompass immediate crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization in the community, aimed at preventing hospitalization and law enforcement involvement whenever possible.
