Summary Description
Under the general direction of the Engineer, the Maintenance Tech works to perform minor repairs on all functioning elements of the Club including but not limited to fitness equipment, building/property, pools, saunas / steam rooms, plumbing, electrical, etc. This position helps to keep all equipment in good working order and repair physical spaces when necessary while upholding maintenance standards as set forth by Woodside.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Possesses an understanding of general maintenance repairs such as replacement of light bulbs and sockets, filters, and other tasks related to maintenance issues
- In conjunction with the Engineer, assists in monitoring, adjusting and maintaining all pool related areas including chemicals; ensures cleanliness in all areas and upon completion of all restorative efforts
- Works with the Engineer to ensure that all supply orders are received and inventoried
- As a part of the Facilities team, works diligently to maintain and ensure the loading dock area is kept clean and organized; includes cleanup of all parking lots (de-weeding, trash pick-up, etc.)
- Works to keep all storage areas organized
- Assists with all event setup, teardown and reset for all events / parties
- Completes, at minimum, a bi-weekly walk of the entire property with the Director of Facilities and Engineer
- Assists with inventories of all lines, supplies, chemicals and other stored items
- Maintains constant communication via radio around the Club
- Responds in a timely manner to maintenance repair issues throughout the Club
- Follows all procedures and remains compliant with all safety and security protocols
- May at times be asked to support special events within Club
- Moves throughout the shift with purpose; no personal cell phone usage during shift
- Attends to all members and/or guests
- Complies with Club’s employee handbook manual, departmental policies and procedures and with all applicable federal and state employment laws
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Job Standards
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

High School Diploma. At least 1-2 years of club desk experience.
