Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, organized, hospitable service professional to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, handle all reservations, manage reservation system, correspondence via emails and telephone, communicate special requests, allergies, and significant occasions to both service team and Executive Chef. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of service. A passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Greet and warmly welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Communicate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely service.
- Provide information about menu items and daily specials to guests.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Utilize Resy for managing reservations and guest information.
- Foster positive guest relations through attentive service and effective communication.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with guest services practices and principles.
