Job Description

Woodside School is a NAEYC accredited, private, non-profit childcare center dedicated to providing quality, developmentally appropriate, individualized early learning and care to the greater Concord community.

We are currently accepting applicants for full-time teachers in our infant, toddler, and preschool programs. Applicants must have a minimum of 9 ECE credits, 3 of which must be in Child Growth and Development.

• Plan and implement curriculum, adapting classroom activities, teaching approach, and materials to meet the needs of each child.
• Respond to the interests and needs of individual children, interact playfully with children while encouraging natural exploration and curiosity, use positive child guidance techniques and strategies.
• Communicate regularly with families
• Use child observation notes as a tool for planning and implementing curriculum
• Attend monthly planning and staff meetings
• Assist in cleaning, organizing, and maintaining classroom
• Candidates must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults, and work well with others in a team environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 – 39.5 per week
