Description:
Looking for junior FTE resource to automate and streamline various processes supporting the design, test, and validation of complex electronic devices. Required experience with Visual Basic and Python, desired experience with Matlab.
Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience developing in Visual Basic and Python with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
- Experience with Visual Basic
- Experience with Python
- Experience with Matlab is desired
- Excellent communication skills with team and clients (both written and verbal communications)
- Team-based collaborative abilities
- Resourceful in terms of problem solving and troubleshooting
Tasks
- Develop standalone tools in Matlab/Python to ingest millions of records and do computational analysis
- Automate creation of testing files via Python
- Assist with programming and automating hardware test lab equipment via Visual Basic
- Design, code, and debug apps in Visual Basic and Python
- Conduct software analysis and provide recommendations for optimization
