Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial settings. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are sanitized, organized, and welcoming for occupants and guests. A strong work ethic and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness are key to success in this position.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing various types of flooring.
• Launder linens, towels, and other items as needed, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
• Execute carpet cleaning procedures to maintain the appearance and hygiene of carpets in residential or commercial spaces.
• Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently to ensure timely completion of duties.
• Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Provide custodial services by maintaining restrooms, kitchens, and common areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Assist with special projects or deep cleaning assignments as required.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or residential cleaning environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
• Ability to launder items effectively while maintaining fabric integrity.
• Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods and equipment is advantageous.
• Strong housekeeping management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail with a focus on sanitation practices.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• A positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
