Night Laundry Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our laundry services, particularly in a hotel or similar environment.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder linens and garments.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items according to established procedures.
• Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times.
• Ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist with dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring high-quality results.
• Collaborate with team members to meet laundry demands in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel or laundry facility is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as necessary.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to laundering processes.
