Barista and Server

Job Description:
We are looking for an to be trained at our home café and roastery before transitioning into a remote role. The ideal candidate must have a strong foundation in coffee preparation, customer service, and a passion for crafting exceptional coffee experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Train in-person at our café and roastery to learn our coffee preparation methods, brewing techniques, and company standards
• Provide remote coffee education, virtual tastings, and customer support through online platforms
• Assist with online orders, subscriptions, and customer inquiries related to our coffee products
• Create engaging content (video demonstrations, social media posts, blog contributions) related to coffee culture and brewing techniques
• Collaborate with our team to develop new recipes, training materials, and customer engagement initiatives
• Ensure consistency in coffee quality and uphold our brand’s mission and values

Requirements:

• Prior ) with knowledge of espresso-based drinks, manual brewing methods, and coffee origins
• Ability to commute for training and occasional in-person sessions at our home café and roastery
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach
• Comfortable working remotely and using digital tools (Zoom, social media, online ordering platforms)
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently while staying engaged with the team
• Passion for coffee, sustainability, and community-driven initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

• with coffee roasting interest, cupping, or advanced brewing techniques
• Background in customer service, social media, or education/training
• Ability to create engaging coffee-related content (videos, articles, social media posts)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.45 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week

• 8 hour shift
