Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas to adhere to food safety standards.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with accuracy, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Stay informed about menu offerings and promotions to effectively upsell products.
Experience
- Previous experience in coffee, customer service or food service is required.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and knowledge of various coffee types is a plus.
- Experience using Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is beneficial.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
