Our district seeks a passionate and innovative Elementary STEM Teacher to inspire young learners across three schools: Woodstock Elementary, Reading Elementary, and Prosper Valley School. This full-time position will provide engaging, hands-on STEM instruction to students, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a dynamic STEM curriculum aligned with state and national standards.
- Engage students in hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
- Collaborate with school staff to integrate STEM concepts across subject areas.
- Utilize technology and project-based learning to enhance student understanding.
- Foster a love for STEM through engaging lessons, experiments, and real-world applications.
- Travel between schools as needed to support students and staff effectively.
Qualifications:
- Valid teaching license with an endorsement in STEM, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching STEM concepts at the elementary level is preferred.
