One of the most beloved resorts in New England, The Woodstock Inn & Resort, is seeking a Retail Sales Associate at the Gift Shop to join the team.
The Retail Associate plays a key role in creating a welcoming and engaging shopping experience for guests. By offering exceptional customer service and maintaining an organized and attractive retail space, this role contributes to the overall guest experience at our Resort.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and provide a friendly, personalized shopping experience
- Engage with guests to build rapport, offer recommendations, and answer questions about merchandise and local artisans.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including packaging purchased items.
- Restock and organize the sales floor throughout the day, ensuring merchandise is attractively displayed.
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety and organization of the shop and storage areas.
- Receive, price, and process incoming inventory in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including end-of-day reconciliations and preparing the shop for the next business day.
This is a part-time position, 2-3 days per week. Retail experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate who has knowledge of the area and is reliable.
