Draftsman/Designer

Draftsman / Drafter wanted. Full time position, drafting and design of custom cabinetry, furniture, architectural millwork, etc. Part time could be considered as well. Our ideal candidate would have prior understanding of cabinet joinery and general construction knowledge, be able to learn and integrate specific details of how we construct our products into drawings and designs, have an artistic approach with an eye for detail, and be able to complete designs based on minimal information such as room dimensions, style themes, concepts, photographs, etc. Our goal is to employ only one person for this position and rely heavily on his/her skills and abilities to provide all of the design drawings needed for our projects. We are open to utilizing skills in mechanical / manual drafting (by hand on a board with parallel bar/etc.) or CAD type design programs. We have been in business in the same location since opening our doors in 1977, serving the Hot Springs & Little Rock AR areas, and beyond, providing top quality custom cabinetry, countertops, furniture, and other millwork related items. Our products are hand made with great attention to detail. Our staff is highly skilled, many of whom have been with us for multiple decades. We treat our trade as an artform, and we have a high level of pride in the products we create. We believe personal touch and passion for design is especially important. This position includes a private office, good pay, and benefits. Starting pay depends on the applicant’s experience and abilities as they fit into our company needs. We expect a period of adjustment and training regardless of prior experience and opportunities for higher compensation levels.
