Millwright

Woodville Pellets is a pellet manufacturing facility in Woodville and a pellet storage terminal in Port Arthur, Texas. Woodville Pellets belongs to Graanul Invest Group that one of the largest pellet producers in the world and the largest in Europe. The group operates in the field of bioenergy and renewable energy production. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Millwright.

As a Millwright, you will be expected to work on average 40 hours a week, with extended hours, including holidays, as needed. You will receive 2 weeks’ vacation after 1 year of service.

Requirements:

· Possess the ability to work safely

· Have working knowledge or experience with PPE

· Have basic knowledge of rigging equipment (ex. Chains, sling, etc.)

· Have practical experience in rigging equipment for repairs or new installation

· Possess the experience of proper bearing installation and removal

· Understand the importance of Preventative work

· Possess the ability to work in inclement weather (with in safe working conditions)

· Possess the ability to work overtime as needed

· Must be mechanically inclined and interested in developing his/her knowledge in this field

· Must be able to work alone or in a team environment

· Must be able to work rotating shift

Preferred, but not required skills:

· Working knowledge of Welding/Fabrication.

· Ability to use oxygen/acetylene cutting equipment.

· Ability to stick weld.

· Have working knowledge of repairing hydraulic system

· Have working knowledge and experience in repair of Chain and Belt Conveyors, Gearboxes, drive chains, sprockets, drive belts and sheaves.

· Have experience with Preventative maintenance on drive mechanisms

· Basic Electrical knowledge

· Possesses the ability to differentiate between an electrical and mechanical failure in a hydraulic or pneumatic system

· Possesses the ability to identify system components and explain the function (ex. Flow controls, check valves, relief valves, etc.)

· Possess the ability to identify different bearing types, styles and give proper dimensional information
