Position Summary: The Facilities Services Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director of Facilities (Services) and is a key support position for the Facilities Department.
Specific Duties Include:
- Responsible for inventory control and ordering of cleaning supplies and materials
- Responsible for receiving materials/orders and accounting for complete shipments
- Assists in the management and procurement of materials for specific projects, as directed
- Assists in weekly ordering and distribution of cleaning supplies and equipment to field teams
- Responsible for maintaining and managing the microfiber program (cleaning, distribution, ordering)
- Coordinate trash pickup with College Park City administrators, when necessary
- Responsible for the coordination of preventive maintenance and scheduling of repairs for all equipment within the Services group; to include dispensers, dilution systems, electrostatic sprayers, floor machines, vacuums, etc
- Inspects and maintains the fleet of Service vehicles - trucks and golf carts to specified standards (oil changes, tire rotations, cleaning, etc.)
- Coordinates Service vehicle’s major repairs with maintenance, as needed
- Assists the housekeeping department in any way the Assistant Director for Services or the Director of Facilities deems necessary, including helping on weekends and special events
- Receiving packages and deliveries from outside carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS)
- Sorts, organizes, and logs incoming packages and deliveries
- Prepares packages for distribution to various locations across campus
- Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Facilities (Services) or the Director of Facilities
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with inventory control, ordering systems and protocols
- Knowledge and experience working in a customer service environment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly, both orally and in writing
- Organizational and time management skills
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and facilities management software
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a customer service-oriented environment
- Valid GA Driver’s license and acceptable MVR
- High School Diploma preferred, but not required
The Facilities Services Coordinator position is a non-exempt, twelve-month position. Hourly-rate is commensurate with education and experience. Benefits are substantial.
