Job Title: Project Manager
Location: LaPorte in East Texas

We are looking for a talented candidate to assist in the areas of construction management work including but not limited to procurement and buy-out scheduling, document control, change management, and supervision. The successful candidate will work closely with our Senior Project Manager, Project Executive and Supervisors. The Project Manager will establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Sub-contractors, and Suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The Project Manager is responsible for the proper management and control of the total scope of services as defined in each project’s contract documents
• Read, understand, and execute the Project in accordance with the Owner contract
• Develop and train personnel assigned to the Project Manager (Project Engineer and/or Assistant Project Manager)
• The Project Manager will negotiate, award, and prepare subcontracts, contract purchase orders, change orders, and change order requests
• Ensure preparation and implementation of project cost codes
• Review the subcontract pre-billing worksheets, pay estimate breakdowns and monthly progress payment request, and monitor payment receipts and disbursements
• The Project Manager works with the Project Superintendent and or Assistant Superintendent to create and regularly update a detailed construction schedule
• Review submittal data for conformance with the project documents
• Manage the Request for Information process
• The Project Manager will review and monitor all construction phase documents for conformance with the budget and schedule. Create and maintain pertinent project manager logs
• Conduct weekly on-site job meetings with documented meeting minutes
• Monitor and enforce Woodward’s safety program
• Fundamental knowledge of computer operations and the following applications: Procore, Microsoft Project or P6 scheduler, Microsoft Office 360 Apps, and Bluebeam

• The Project Manager must have some light industrial experience
