• Estimated hourly rate pay: $28.97 (minimum) - $35.34 (midpoint) - $42.41 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Calibration Technician, we have an exciting opportunity for you! In this role, you will ensure Woodward’s measurement processes follow recognized practices and principles by calibrating and maintaining a variety of mechanical, electronic, and environmental testing equipment. You’ll identify error sources, assess measurement reliability, and develop calibration methods using measurement science and technical analysis. Additionally, you’ll ensure our calibration program complies with industry and customer standards, including QS-9000 and ISO/IEC 17025. What You Will Be Doing

• Developing calibration procedures.

What We Are Looking For

• Associate of Applied Science degree in Metrology, graduation from a military metrology/calibration program, or equivalent experience required.
• 5 years of calibration experience, with strong knowledge of measuring and test equipment used for product verification.
• Comprehensive knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Electrical/electronic theory, Mechanical principles, Hydraulic systems.
• Strong understanding and practical application of metrology principles and measurement methods.
• Proficiency in calibration laboratory principles and practices.
• In-depth knowledge of standards used for calibrating various measuring and test equipment.
• Ability to learn and apply software tools, including IndySoft and other Woodward systems.
• Capability to develop detailed work instructions and procedures for calibrating individual equipment.
