• Level 2 estimated annual base pay: $18.46 (minimum) - $23.08 (midpoint) - $27.70 (maximum) USD Hourly (Plus overtime if applicable)

• Level 3 estimated annual base pay: $21.46 (minimum) - $26.83 (midpoint) - $32.20 (maximum) USD Hourly (Plus overtime if applicable)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Mechanical Assembler, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Mechanical Assembler reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for assembling, installing, aligning, adjusting and fitting sub-assemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment, in an industrial setting. The position works under limited supervision, moderate decision-making and problem solving, in an industrial setting. This position also provides come guidance to other members.

** This is a 1st shift position, working Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (5x8 schedule) with the possibility of overtime.

What You Will Be Doing

• Assemble and/or perform preset calibration/final testing. Performs moderately complex assembly and test. Products may include but are not limited to small, medium and large products, subassemblies and/or complete units.

• Assemble, install, align, adjust and fit subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment as per work instructions.

• Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per proper work instructions.

• Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of moderately complex assembly and/or test problems.

• Follow work instructions associated with assembly skills to become certified for work being performed.

• Work with close tolerances and fits to meet engineering and operating requirements.

• Complete all required paperwork in an accurate and efficient manner, including Quality Assurance and Test Record.

What We Are Looking For

Level 2:

• Knowledge of and the ability to use a variety of basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, scrappers, box cutters).

• The ability to use computer and web-based systems to input, access, modify, or output information.

• US – High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 2-5 years work experience and applicable certifications.

• Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects. Work is performed in area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear. May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision examinations.

Level 3:

• Knowledge of and the ability to use a variety of basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, scrappers, box cutters).

• The ability to use computer and web-based systems to input, access, modify, or output information.

• US – High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 5 plus years work experience and applicable certifications.

• Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects. Work is performed in area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear. May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision examinations.
