• Estimated annual base pay: $66,400.00 (minimum) - $83,000.00 (midpoint) - $99,600.00 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? Woodward is hiring for an Operations Supervisor to support the PUMP group at the Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL. This position is on 1st shift (Monday- Friday -5:30AM- 2:30PM) and will be responsible for managing product metrics and a diverse group of members to meet our customer demands.

What You Will Be Doing

• Managing the day-to-operations of the Pump Value Stream, including all processes from housing, gear and bearing manufacturing through Assembly and Test, to meet all daily production requirements.
• Leading and coaching a team of 25-30 full-time members (incl. multiple team leads) in all areas of the Pump value stream to achieve and maintain the desired level of safety, quality and productivity.
• Coordinating, preparing for and/or leading the needed Tier level meetings to ensure all members in the line have the needed tools, equipment and information needed to be successful.
• Support and participate in Continuous Improvement activities, including Kaizen, 8-Step Problem Solving, ZDC, etc.

What We Are Looking For

• US - High School Diploma or equivalent. Two or Four year degree in related discipline desired.
• Less than 2 years Previous leadership experience required (e.g. direct leadership, team lead, mentoring, projects, etc.).Previous operations experience/knowledge required.
