Responsibilities
-
Answer dealership group phones, greet and receive prospects and customers
- Serve visitors by warmly greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
- Notify company personnel of visitor arrival
- Maintain security and telecommunications system
- Inform visitors by answering or referring inquiries
- Direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories
- Operate telecommunication system by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation
- Follow established guidelines of telephone etiquette
- Learn to Listen and always project a sincere attitude
- Maintain the reception area and showroom in a neat and safe way
- Keep refreshments well stocked
- Provide basic information to callers who have general inquiries
- Contribute to team effort by assisting team members as necessary
- Perform administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Ability to speak clearly on the telephone and convey professionalism, sincerity, and competence to callers
- Ability to convey messages to employees clearly and quickly
- Ability to determine when people should and should not be interrupted (i.e., when a salesperson is with a customer)
- Professional personal appearance
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens
