Dog Kennel Help

Woof City of Frisco is seeking a friendly, outgoing team player to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals boarding at our facility as well as assisting our groomer with checking dogs in and out.

Hours that you must be willing to work: Monday -Friday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am -5pm, Sunday rotations 8:00am-11am and/or 3:00pm-6:00pm (two- three days off during the week)

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

Checking in/out boarding/daycare/grooming

• General front office maintenance-book boarding reservations and grooms
• Speaking with clients in a professional manor.
• Making clients feel welcomed and comfortable
• Send daily report cards out for boarded dogs
• Send emails regarding vaccinations and questions clients may have.
• Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals Clean dog kennels daily and upon check in/out
• Keep overall facility clean at all times
• Ability to write instructions/administer medications.
• Providing top of the line care to the boarding and daycare guests. .
• Taking out the garbage, sweeping, mopping, cleaning laundry and restocking supplies as needed
• Daily clean up off the back yard as dogs are let out .
• Conduct pet evaluations.
• Ability to multitask.

Qualifications:

• Weekend and holiday availability is a must.

Previous experience in animal care or other related field required Passion to help and treat animals Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner Be comfortable around dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Must effectively read, speak and write (Legible) in English Basic computer skills Be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work independently and with others Must have reliable transportation and be on time to scheduled shifts Great work ethic

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour (based on experience and includes tips)

Hours: Up to 32 hours a week and can flex depending on the time of year
