Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards and client preferences.
- Conduct thorough examinations of pets to identify any skin issues, parasites, or other health concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming options.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.
- Handle animals safely and compassionately during grooming sessions, ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
- Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, trends, and products to provide top-notch services.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians or assistants when necessary to address any health-related concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train passionate individuals with a strong interest in animal care.
- Background in veterinary assistance or animal handling is a plus, as it enhances understanding of pet behavior and health needs.
- Skills in dog training or equine care can be beneficial for understanding various animal temperaments.
