Merchandising: We strive to impress our customers with the look and feel of our store. With a heavy emphasis on store presentation, our associates play an integral role in helping our pet parents find what they need right when they need it. Also, you will be essential in executing merchandising, stocking, and pricing.

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction in our retail environment, particularly within the grocery store sector.

Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits through effective product demos.
• Utilize retail math to assist customers with inquiries related to pricing and promotions.
• Maintain accurate stock levels by organizing merchandise and conducting regular inventory checks.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall shopping experience.
• Stay informed about new products, promotions, and store policies to effectively assist customers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated to achieve individual sales goals.
• Willingness to learn about products and services offered in the store.
