Duties
- Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications, including weddings, birthdays, and special events.
- Prepare various types of pastries and baked goods as needed.
- Utilize kitchen tools and equipment effectively, including knives, spatulas, and piping bags.
- Ensure all food preparation adheres to safety and sanitation standards.
- Package finished products attractively for delivery or display.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the kitchen.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with catering teams to fulfill large orders or special requests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cake decorating or pastry arts is preferred.
- Strong skills in food preparation techniques and knowledge of food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a creative flair for design.
