Professional Groomer

Responsibilities

- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets' coats

- Trim pets' nails, clean their ears, and provide other grooming-related services

- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process

- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their preferences and ensure customer satisfaction

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area

Experience

- Previous experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary assistance or animal handling is preferred

- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements

- Ability to handle animals with varying temperaments safely and compassionately

- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively

- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary

About the team

Woof Gang Bakery Valrico gives you maximum freedom to schedule the number of dogs that works for you. You are under no pressure to add dogs and possibly jeopardize the quality of your work, which is key to our clients because they pay very well for your services. We give our experienced groomers all the autonomy they need to manage their own time.

You can expect to earn $40K–70K per year, including 50% commission and tips. Let us take care of the phones and the booking. We give our experienced groomers all the autonomy they need to manage their own time.
