Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, EXPERIENCED, and passionate Dog Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of canine behavior and training techniques, both Positive Reinforcement and Balanced Techniques, providing effective training solutions for dogs of all breeds and ages. This role involves working closely with both dogs and their owners to foster positive relationships and ensure successful training outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct Daycare & Train, private lessons, and group training sessions for dogs, focusing on obedience, socialization, and minor behavioral modification.
- Assess each dog's behavior and tailor training programs to meet their specific needs.
- Educate dog owners on effective training techniques and proper handling practices.
- Utilize positive reinforcement methods to encourage desired behaviors in dogs.
- Maintain accurate records of each dog's progress and communicate updates to owners.
- Provide guidance on general pet care, including nutrition, exercise, and grooming.
- Ensure a safe training environment by implementing proper animal restraint techniques when necessary.
- Collaborate with veterinary professionals as needed for health-related concerns impacting training.
Skills
- MINIMUM 5 Years PROFESSIONAL Dog Training is REQUIRED

- Strong knowledge of dog handling and training techniques.
- Experience in animal handling and restraint methods.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with dog owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when managing larger breeds or equipment.

- Understanding of veterinary care principles is a plus.
