What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groomer Technician position at Woof’s Play & Stay?
Woof’s Play & Stay is now hiring Groomer Technicians. Groom Techs will be trained to provide grooming duties including bathing, drying, and nail trims. You will also assist groomers with handling dogs during the grooming service. Groom Techs will be cross trained as kennel attendants and will assist in other areas as needed. There are performance-based opportunities to advance and receive additional training on full grooming services and specific breed cuts!
Qualifications:
- Must have flexible availability
- Customer service experience preferred
- Must be able to work at least one weekend day
- Firsthand knowledge or desire to learn modern, compassionate animal care methods
- Ability to lift and carry dogs and equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
Pay & Perks:
- Pay from $12.30 - $13.00 per hour based on experience
