What are the responsibilities and job description for the After Hours Dog Caregiver position at Woofers Pet Resort?
Would you like to work a second job in exchange for a free place to live? Would you trade 15-20 hours of evening and morning work per week for free, furnished housing including all utilities such as gas, water, electricity, internet, and garbage pickup, saving you about $2,000/month in housing costs?
Woofers Pet Resort in Black Hawk, South Dakota is looking for an honest and reliable employee to potty our doggie guests early each morning and at night five days per week. Also, to allow between 1-4 dogs to sleep in your apartment some nights. Depending on occupancy, the pottying task should take between 1 and 2.5 hours per day total. The schedule is designed to allow a person to potty the dogs in the morning, work his or her regular day job, and then potty them again at night.
If you love, love, love being around dogs of every size, age, and breed, and if you are confident with them and able to be the pack leader to a group ranging from 2-20 while they go potty, this could be the perfect gig for you, but you must be trustworthy, honest, and tidy and be able to pass background and drug tests. A maximum of one resident is allowed. The job and apartment are open now.
The neighborhood is super quiet but sometimes a dog or a few will bark at night, so you must be unbothered by this or willing to get them to be quiet. The studio apartment is new and furnished including all furniture and appliances. Because it is inside a business, there are some restrictions on who and when people can be on property. No smoking is allowed, and we are a drug-free workplace, which means any of us can be randomly tested at any time.
