Who is the right person? Someone who is crazy about dogs and is hardworking, reliable, and motivated to do his or her best and continually improve through experience and coaching. The ideal candidate is by nature confident and a leader. (Those who tend toward nervousness or anxiety don't do as well.) Previous experience working with animals is a plus but not nearly as important as personal qualities and work ethic.
The job mainly involves being the pack leader of our outdoor play groups. Duties also include walking dogs in and out on leashes, cleaning, feeding, customer interaction, etc. The job is highly physical and fast-paced . One full-time and one part-time positions are available. Training and coaching are provided.
