Woofie’s of Annapolis is hiring several Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters in the Annapolis, Maryland area! Potential to earn the equivalent of $15 - $24 per hour. Perfect for college students, stay-at-home parents, freelancers, active retirees, and anyone looking to earn extra money. Must live in Annapolis, Maryland or the surrounding area.

Design your own schedule! This position offers a variety of options based on your interests and availability - available shifts and visit needs include:

• Dog Walkers - various visit times or shifts are needed including mornings, mid-day, evenings, and weekends
• Pet sitting and dog walks for the regular workday or out-of-town clients
• Flexible pet sitting visit needs across 7 days with mornings, mid-day, evening, weekend availability
• In-home stays at clients’ homes from 7pm to 7am
• Visits at clients' homes needed for cats and other small family pet friends

Responsibilities:

• Exercise dogs through walking, backyard, and indoor play
• Feed and provide fresh water, when needed
• Give medications as necessary
• Friendly and reliable
• Communicate with clients via our app to share information from the day’s visit
• Communicate with back-office team members as necessary
• Participate in local community pet events in Annapolis and the surrounding area by engaging with attendees and promoting services (minimum of one event per month)

Qualifications:

• Applicants must live in the Annapolis area
• Applicants should be capable of walking, exercising, and handling pet in their care
• Experience with pets is preferred but not required (i.e., training will be provided)
• Must be 18 or over and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and smartphone
• Customer service experience is a plus
• This position requires work in clients’ homes and outdoors; necessary equipment includes a reliable vehicle and a smartphone
