Summary
As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding guest services and ensuring smooth hotel operations. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, your role encompasses overseeing front desk activities, managing guest relations, and providing exceptional customer service. Your core skills in hospitality and phone etiquette will enhance the guest experience, while your premium skills in hotel management and time management will ensure efficient front desk operations. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and guest services
- Train and supervise front desk staff to ensure excellent customer service
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Manage room inventory and reservations to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial transactions and guest accounts
- Assist with night audit duties as needed
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles and practices
- Experience in hotel management or related field is highly desirable
- Proficient in front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, phone etiquette, and guest relations
- Familiarity with hotel phone systems and reservation software is a plus
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and diplomacy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
-Marriott experience is highly preferred.
This is a 3-11pm shift to include weekends and to be the manager on duty.
