Bermello Ajamil, a Woolpert Company (BA), is hiring a Designer I to join our dynamic Healthcare Interior Design team at our Coral Gables office. Ideal candidates should be able to apply sound and diverse knowledge of architectural principles and practices on a broad array of assignments and building types, and translate conceptual ideas into detailed plans and specifications.
Responsibilities
As a Designer I for Interiors at BA, you will:
- Perform interior design assignments under general supervision.
- Review completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations.
- Create and modify architectural project drawings.
- Work on design and drafting assignments including site plans, floor plans, elevations, and sections required.
- Prepare graphics, presentations, contract drawings, and regulatory submissions.
- Organize and maintain project record information and drawings.
- Coordinate with clients, project consultants, and engineers.
- Write reports and specifications required.
Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years’ experience in Architecture
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design; Master’s Degree a plus
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Sketchup
- Advanced-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be self-motivated to meet deadlines and improve process and deliverables.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
