Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us develop software tools that will drive Woolpert's advanced Lidar systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems, firmware development, Lidar, point cloud processing, and data acquisition systems. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimization of remote sensing systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
Software Development and Optimization : Design, develop, and maintain software for lidar systems, focusing on embedded systems and firmware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Implement and optimize data acquisition algorithms to ensure accurate and efficient data collection.
- Develop and maintain software tools for testing, calibration, and validation of lidar systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in lidar technology and software development practices.
