Responsibilities
Your Mission: Leadership, Growth, and Innovation : As a Surveyor with SUE experience, you will:
- Ignite Growth: Expand Woolpert’s SUE services while driving business opportunities in utility investigations and mapping.
- Inspire Teams: Lead and mentor passionate professionals, cultivating a high-performing team ready to tackle complex challenges.
- Innovate Boldly: Leverage cutting-edge technologies to deliver precise utility locations and innovative mapping solutions.
- Conduct utility investigations using SUE methods (Levels A-D).
- Operate and maintain surveying and utility detection equipment (GPR, electromagnetic locators, GNSS equipment, etc.).
- Collect detailed utility locations to create reports and deliverables using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or GIS software.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Team leaders to ensure data accuracy and project success.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- This role requires extensive travel, including the possibility of multi-day deployments both within the state and across the country.
- 2 years of experience in land surveying and SUE practices.
- Proficiency in GNSS, total stations, and data processing software.
- Strong understanding of SUE standards (ASCE 38-22) and utility mapping techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem -solving and decision-making abilities.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
- Good physical condition and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and various terrain .
