Woolsey Morcom is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented personal injury (“PI”) legal assistant for its Ponte Vedra office to support attorney(s) through the life cycle of cases. As a legal assistant, you will provide essential support to our PI attorneys, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional client service. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, drafting legal documents, organizing case files, ordering medical and billing records, and maintaining effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of PI procedures and possess excellent multitasking and communication skills. Candidate must have 3 years of experience working as a PI legal assistant to be considered.

We are seeking a dedicated PI legal assistant with a minimum of three (3) years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in managing personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
- Draft and review legal correspondence, demand letters, and pre-suit documents.
- Scheduling client appointments and managing calendars.
- Organizing case files and maintaining client correspondence.
- Assisting with collecting intake documents.
- Gather and organize medical records, bills, and other supporting documents.
- Answer phone calls and provide case status updates to clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other parties.
- Manage case files and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Schedule appointments, depositions, and other legal meetings as required.
- Track and monitor case deadlines to ensure timely filings and responses.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and maintain efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience as a PI legal assistant (pre-suit experience preferred).
- Education: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of PI case management and pre-suit processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
