Position Overview
The Manager of Employee Experience will report directly to the Managing Director, with a dotted-line relationship to the Head of Global Employee Experience. This pivotal role will guide and enhance our employee experience in the U.S., while contributing to global strategies that align with Woom’s vision and mission. You will oversee key HR functions and foster a culture of empowerment and growth throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Overall Support: Lead the US Regional core functions of EX and support Global EX strategy topics- both in contribution and execution
- Employee Experience: Create and lead initiatives and programs that cultivate an empowered and growth minded team including Employee Engagement, Learning and Development and Office Experience.
EX Budget Management: Oversee the regional budget for employee experience initiatives, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation
Workforce Planning: Continuously improve and refine strategic workforce planning to optimize organizational structure
Project and Program Management- Participate in all current and new project and program management as needed to support the Global EX function
- Employee Experience: Create and lead initiatives and programs that cultivate an empowered and growth minded team including Employee Engagement, Learning and Development and Office Experience.
- Operations:
- (HRIS): Ensure our HRIS(BambooHR) meets regional needs and compliance standards in partnership with other regions, facilitating efficient employee data management.
- Compensation and Payroll: Guide the strategy and operations of regional compensation packages and US payroll, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices
- Benefits Administration: Lead the design and administration of US employee benefits programs tailored to regional needs
- Annual Merit Review: Lead the US Regional annual merit increase cycle, ensuring it reflects woom compensation philosophy and market trends
- Policies, Procedures, and Processes: Update and enforce regional HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices
- Talent Business Partnerships: Collaborate with department leaders to align business objectives with talent strategies
- Change Management: Lead change initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and keeping the employee experience at heart
- Employee Relations and Investigations: Handle complex employee relations issues and investigations, maintaining legal and ethical standards
- Performance Management: Support global EX team with the performance review process and ensure it supports employee growth and organizational goals
- Talent Acquisition
- Manage a comprehensive talent strategy aligned with woom’s growth plans, vision, mission & values and looking holistically at the business strategies and initiatives to ensure recruitment of talent with the requisite capabilities to achieve business goals.
- Directly recruit and source for positions including crafting authentic job descriptions and socializing open positions throughout an omni channel environment.
- Lead employment branding strategies to reflect woom’s values, culture and celebrate our woomsters through storytelling and recognition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5 years of HR or Employee Experience leadership, preferably in a global organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and workforce planning.
- Strong skills in change management, employee engagement, and talent acquisition.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
