Works under the direction of an RN and within the Nurse Practice Act to provide care via the applicable portions of the Nursing Process. Assists with and participates in the client education component of Cardiac Rehabilitation. Under direction of the RN, assists in the operational aspects of the department. Coordinates patient care with other disciplines, PT,OT, Home Health Aide, Speech Therapy and Social Worker to ensure that patient meets their goals. Follows Medicare Condition of Participation requirements in delivering patient care.
